Statistical Learning Assignment 2

This post is about assignment 2 of a statistical learning master course. The goal here is to fit a Logistic regression and Naive Bayes model on two training/testing sets. the UCI Adult set and Voting dataset. The results were that for small training sets, Naive Bayes works better, and for large datasets, it's Logistic Regression that is better. It's a classic tale of Bias and Variance playing a role however, which is quite predictable. The report can be found on the below link:

First post

Hey all!

So I thought it was a good idea to post all my current homework assignments and cool ideas I had while living my life as a mathematician here. On the homework part, people could perhaps read my homework assignments, post their own etc. and we could mutually help each other this way... On the interesting ideas part, the internet is huge, who knows what might happen with them? :O

In a while, I'll post parts of my research on a joint program made by my dad. This is mainly for my BA thesis, but it's fun as well. My BA thesis for Japanese will also be posted here in due time.

In a LONG while, I think I'll post preliminary results of a "secret" research project here... DUN DUN DUN... I don't have that much time though >.>

Hope anyone will ever read this ^^
